The Istanbul & 7 Churches Tour is one of our most beloved Biblical journeys — an eight-day pilgrimage designed for faith groups, pastors, and anyone who wishes to walk in the footsteps of the early church across Turkey.

Beginning in the imperial splendour of Istanbul, you will stand inside Hagia Sophia, explore the treasures of Topkapı Palace, and trace the Byzantine and Ottoman layers of one of history’s greatest cities. From there, the journey moves deep into western Anatolia — the heartland of the early church — visiting each of the seven churches addressed in the Book of Revelation: Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, Laodicea, and Ephesus.

At Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world, you will walk the marble-paved streets where the Apostle Paul preached, visit the Library of Celsus and the Temple of Hadrian, and reflect at the site of the Church of St. John. The natural wonder of Pamukkale, with its white travertine terraces and the ruins of Hierapolis (Colossians 4:13), offers a serene contrast before the return journey through Philadelphia and Sardis. The tour concludes at Nicea — modern İznik — where in AD 325 the first ecumenical council declared the Creed that still unites Christians worldwide.
